Gearing Up for September 2019
Here we are at the beginning of August and getting our ducks in a row for the Round Rock co-op. Discussions are happening between families who have registered already where we can offer K-12, something for every family, with a K-3 FIAR group, 4-5 studies of some kind that may include Texas history, 6-8 will do general science and science fiction literature, and 9-12 will do conceptual physics with science fiction literature. Co-op getting ready to go! The 6-12 group is a drop-off whereas parents have to stay with anyone K-5. You can see on our home page that we meet at a church in Round Rock who have let us use their facilities, and sometimes we get asked if it's a Christian group. My answer is: well, not specifically, our books aren't Christian textbooks or anything, but those of us who run it are Christian so we won't guarantee we'll never talk about our faith.
